Cinnamon Sugar Donuts

Nothing tastes more like Fall than cinnamon sugar donuts.

Cinnamon Sugar Donut Holds
1 cup plus 1 Tbsp flour
1/2 cup sugar
1 1/4 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp nutmeg
3/4 tsp salt
1/2 cup buttermilk
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla bean paste
2 Tbsp butter, melted
1/4 cup sugar
2 Tbsp ground cinnamon

Preheat oven to 425° degrees. Spray doughnut hole pan with cooking spray.



In a medium bowl, sift flour, sugar, baking powder, nutmeg, and salt.



In a small bowl, add buttermilk, egg, vanilla, and butter and stir until well combined. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients until combined.



Fill each doughnut hole cup with 1 level Tbsp.



Bake until tops spring back when lightly touched, 7 min. Remove doughnut holes from pan to wire rack. While hot, roll in a cinnamon-sugar mixture.
