Classic Book Club Invitation

Stacy Croniger with Paper Crafts Magazine shows us how a few pieces of paper can jazz up that basic book club or group gathering.

SUPPLIES:

Cardstock: (Cream Puff) Bazzill Basics Paper Patterned paper: (Hand Bag, Thicket, Ticking Stripe from Formal Affair collection) Scrapworks Dye ink: (Old Paper) Ranger Industries Accents: (silver buckle) Li’l Davis Designs Rub-ons: (CK Postcard alphabet) Scrappin’ Creations; (symbol) Scrapworks Fibers: (lime green polka dot ribbon) Font: (Heber) Chatterbox; (Renaissance) www.twopeasinabucket.com Tool: (corner rounder punch) Finished size: 4 1/4″ x 6 3/4″

DIRECTIONS:

1. Make invitation insert from patterned paper; round corners and ink edges.
2. Print book club details on cardstock. Round corners; ink and stitch edges. Apply rub-ons and adhere to insert.
3. Cut invitation sleeve from Hand Bag paper; ink edges. Cut strips of Ticking Stripe paper; round corners and adhere behind sleeve edges. Wrap sleeve around insert and adhere ends together in back.
4. Wrap ribbon around sleeve and thread ends through buckle; knot together.
