Colosimo’s Chili

2 lb Colosimo Mild or Hot Sausage (crumbled)
1 can black beans
1 can chili beans (plain)
1 can Kidney beans
29 oz. Colosimo’s tomato sauce
12 oz. diced tomatoes or 3 medium tomatoes chopped
2 tablespoon chili powder
1 onion cut up
1 green pepper cut (optional)
Salt & Pepper to taste
4 oz. chopped green chilies (optional)

Brown the meat, add beans (liquid included), tomatoes, tomato sauce, onion, pepper (optional), green chilies (optional), and chili powder.

Cook in slow cooker on low up to 8 hours. Can also be cooked on the stove top for several hours on a low simmer.

Serve in a bread bowl with sour cream and shredded cheese. Serves 4-6.
