Confetti-fy everyday gift wrap! 5 colorful ways to add that special touch

Add confetti to all kinds of gift wrap!

We may be a full week into the new year,  but we still have reasons to celebrate. So, cue the confetti!

Studio 5 Creative Producer Jill Broadbent shares ways to use this shiny and sparkly detail in everyday gift-giving.  Add a little confetti fun to any festivity – all year long.

Confetti Ribbon

Add confetti to packaging tape and add to gifts for a fun texture and pop of color.

Gift Tags

Add mod podge to basic tags and cover in confetti. Adds the perfect festive touch. You can even create a gift tag from plastic name badge holders. Simply add confetti in the opening, zip shut, and decorate the front with stickers or vinyl to personalize.

Confetti Wand

A confetti wand is a whimsical detail for young friends. You can add confetti to vellum or acetate and sew onto a dowel rod. You can also create a shape with hot glue, drop in confetti and the dowel and let set. A clear Christmas ornament filled with confetti also makes the perfect wand.

Gift Boxes

With clear gift boxes, simply coat the inside with mod podge and add confetti to contain the pieces while still giving that fun effect.

Sprinkles as Confetti

Lastly, use actual sprinkles as confetti. Create a topper for cupcakes and then pour onto the cupcake itself for a fun, edible surprise.
