Cool Summer Smoothies

Berry Lemon Surprise:
1 cup lowfat milk
1 package (4 oz.) Mixed Berry flavored applesauce
1 cup ice
2 tablespoons lemonade concentrate (not thawed or diluted)
Combine all ingredients in blend and blend on high until smooth.

Chocoberry Chiller:
1 cup lowfat milk
2 tablespoons chocolate syrup
2 tablespoons raspberry syrup
multi-colored sprinkles, or colored sugar (optional)
fresh or frozen raspberries, garnish (optional)


Combine milk with syrups and mix thoroughly. Chill in freezer 5 minutes. Dip top rim 2 glasses in sprinkles to coat edges. (If desired, drizzle additional 2 tablespoon chocolate syrup inside glasses). Pour cooler into glasses and garnish with raspberries.
Coconut Cooler:
1 cup fat free milk
1 cup pineapple sherbet or coconut sorbet
1/2 cup canned or fresh crushed pineapple, drained
1/4-1/2 teaspoon coconut extract
fresh pineapple spears


Place milk, sherbet, pineapple and coconut extract in blender, cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 frosted glasses, garnish with pineapple spears if desired.
Lip-Lickin Limeade Chiller:
1 cup fat free milk
1 cup lime sherbet
1/4 cup limeade concentrate (not thawed or diluted)
lime slices, optional garnish


Combine milk, sherbet, limeade concentrate in blender, cover and blend until smooth. Pour into 2 chilled glasses, garnish with lime slices.
