Craft up a Halloween cemetery! This $30 tool makes Styrofoam tombstones spooky simple

Make a totally realistic Halloween cemetery out of Styrofoam!

Turn your yard into a spooky Halloween scene all the neighbors will stop to check out! With just a few simple supplies, you can create a Halloween cemetery, complete with realistic tombstones.

Studio 5 Creative Contributor Michelle Crowley taught us how with gravestones of every shape and size!

 

Supplies

  • Styrofoam sheets (for smaller projects, recycle Styrofoam from packaging you receive. For larger projects, use insulation boards from the hardware store)
  • Gravestone templates (search free images or find on Etsy)
  • Heat Knife

From mantel decorations to table setting place cards to large yard ornaments, this can be translated at any scale.

Michelle suggested using three layered colors of gray to black spray paints to really make it look like textured, weathered cement.
