Creating an at Home Spa

Studio 5 Contributor Mindy Dunyon lists ways to create a spa experience at home!


No matter how busy you are, or how tight your budget is, there’s no reason you can’t enjoy a little me time…all in the comfort of your own home.

AT HOME SPA: ECONOMY

a. Cleanse Face, Exfoliate and apply hydrating Avacado Masque

b. Add olive oil to a spray bottle and apply on hair for moisturizing – leave on

c. Take a bubble bath

d. Apply sugar scrub to legs, elbows, feet, arms and rest of body

e. Shower – wash hair and rinse off scrub and masque

Make your own Hydrating Avocado Masque

a. 1 Avocado peeled and seeded

b. 2 t Extra virgin olive oil

c. Blend ingredients

d. Apply with clean foundation brush to face

e. Leave on for at least 10 minutes, then rinse

Make your own Hydrating Hair Spray

a. Add olive oil to a spray bottle

b. Spray on hair and leave on for 10 minutes

c. Rinse

Make your own Sugar Scrub

a. 1 c Brown Sugar

b. 1 c Olive Oil

c. 1 c Raw Oatmeal

d. Apply all over body and leave on for 10 minutes

e. Rinse
