Creative Ways To Display Kid’s Artwork

Studio 5 Trend Tracker Mindy Dunyon shares some fresh and fun ways to display kid’s works of art.

TURN ART INTO GIFTS
I love this idea. My favorite place to find unique products is www.kidsartetc.com. Kids Art Etc. is the premier source for creating gifts and unique pieces of artwork from your child’s drawings and paintings. They have a huge selection of personalized items that make great Christmas gifts! You simply scan in your original art work, or even mail it to them and they will send you back your selections. All Christmas orders are due by December 12th to guarantee delivery.

MAKE IT EDIBLE

Edible images can personalize any sweet treat! This is a perfect gift idea for the person that already has everything. Scan in your child’s school artwork and then place them on a dozen cookies to give to his/her teacher at the end of the year. Or, bring in a party invitation and they put it on top of the birthday cake. Digital images are preferred, and most orders require 2 days notice.

CREATIVE PRODUCTS
– Lil DaVinci Art Cabinet; Amazon ($28)
Proudly display and archive your child’s artwork in an instant. This unique art cabinet will display and store 50 cherished masterpieces. Simply lift the latch to open the door, push the artwork into the spring-loaded pocket, re-latch the glass door, and your display is instantly refreshed! Their older creations are stored behind their newest artistic endeavor.

– Brown and Graham’s Frames Wallpaper; Amazon ($40)
This home decor product is a completely interactive wallpaper. You decide what you want it to be. Whether you want to put up your youngsters artwork, paint, color, or draw directly in to a frame, or post family photos into the frames, it’s up to you. 1 roll is 20.5 inches wide by 11 yards long and covers 56 square feet.

UPDATE THE FURNITURE
Give old and outdated furniture of home accessories an update by decoupaging children’s artwork directly onto the piece. I used glossy mod podge to update an old toy chest and doll cradle.
