Creative ways to make S’mores

Amy Ferre shares some of her favorite non-traditional ways to make s’mores.

Grilled S’mores

4 whole graham crackers (broken in half)

4 sheets of aluminum foil (12×8-inch each)

2 Hershey bars (broken in half)

4 large marshmallows

Preheat grill to medium-hot. Assemble S’mores in the middle of aluminum foil. Wrap s’mores loosely with foil so heat can circulate inside foil packet. Grill 5 minute or until marshmallows are melted.

Banana S’mores

4 Bananas (not too ripe)

1 cup chocolate chips

1 cup marshmallows

1/2 stick of butter

Preheat grill to medium-hot. Cut bananas (in peel) down the center long ways, open. Place 1/4 cup of chocolate chips, 1/4 cup marshmallows and 1/4 of butter in each banana. Spreading out evenly. close banana and place on grill for 6 minutes or until marshmallows melt. Remove carefully! Unpeel bananas and enjoy!

Magic S’mores Bars

1 can Eagle Brand Sweetened Condensed Milk (not evaporated milk)

1 bag chocolate chips

1 package of prepared chocolate chip cookie dough (or favorite dough recipe)

Preheat oven to 350.Spread cookie dough evenly in a greased 13×9 baking pan, bake as directed or until dough is almost done. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over cookie bars. Sprinkle chocolate chip and press them down slightly. Bake for 30 minutes.
(you can also add coconut, nuts, miniature marshmallows or different flavored chips)

Cut into squares and enjoy.

Fruity S’mores

4 graham crackers, broken in half

4 fresh strawberries thinly sliced
shaved chocolate bar

cream cheese

Spread cream cheese evenly on graham cracker halves. Place strawberries and chocolate on one half, and top with the other. Enjoy!

Break graham crackers in half, spread with chocolate frosting and marshmallow cream.

You can also use different flavored frosting such as German chocolate or strawberry.

S’more Snack Mix



4 cups POST WAFFLE CRISP Cereal

1-1/2 cups JET-PUFFED Miniature Marshmallows

4 bars (1.55 oz. each) milk chocolate candy, broken into rectangles

TOSS all ingredients in large bowl.
STORE in tightly covered container at room temperature.
