The Custom Cheesecake Bar: All the details for this personalized party idea

Let your guests build their own custom cheesecake!

This dessert spread will have your guests over the moon! It’s a party idea that lets you completely customize your choice of cheesecake—and puts dessert right in your hand.

Amy Richardson shared a build-your-own cheesecake bar like you won’t believe.

The ‘Over the Moon’ theme is perfect for this time of year, but you can get creative with variations on the theme. For example, consider a “Cow Jumped Over the Moon” theme for a whimsical touch, or an “Under a Starry Moon” theme for a New Year’s bash. The possibilities are endless!

Setting the Scene

To make your cheesecake bar look stunning, Amy suggested using a marble dolly as the centerpiece of your table. It adds a touch of elegance that can really elevate your dessert display. Stack the cheesecake glasses on the marble tray for an extra pop of style!

Amy picked up glasses from HomeGoods, and they don’t have to match! The more shapes and sizes, the better! It’s an eclectic look, and guests can pick their size.

  • Caramel Sauce
  • Chocolate Fudge

  2. Mix the crushed crackers with some granola.
  3. Heat up honey and drizzle it over the mixture for sweetness.

Amy’s Cheesecake Filling Recipe

Ready to make the cheesecake filling? This recipe serves about 15-20 people, so it’s perfect for a party!

INGREDIENTS

  • 4 cups heavy whipping cream (divided)
  • 2 large containers of Philadelphia whipped cream cheese
  • ½ cup powdered sugar
  • 3 large containers of Tillamook Old Fashioned Style Vanilla Yogurt

METHOD

  1. In a large bowl, mix the yogurts together until smooth.
  2. In a stand mixer, add the cream cheese and slowly pour in half of the heavy cream. Mix until well blended.
  3. Add the powdered sugar and the rest of the cream, then beat until it’s light and fluffy. The mixture should be thick, like whipped cream.
  4. Refrigerate the filling until you’re ready to serve. You can even make this a day ahead to save time!
