Here are all the Father’s day gift ideas you’ll need this weekend.
Celebrate all the great men in your life! Whether your guy loves games or the outdoors, here is a hand-picked gift guide, tailored to specific dad personalities.
Studio 5 Producer Mindy Dunyon shares six Father’s Day gift ideas.
For the Well-Groomed Dad
The Art of Shaving – Shaving Cream, $29 (eligible for overnight delivery with Amazon Prime)
This isn’t your average shaving cream, it’s deluxe. “It’s a little more expensive, but one guy I know gets this every Christmas and it lasts him through the whole year,” Mindy emphasized. It’s a luxury item that they probably wouldn’t splurge on for themselves.
For the Golf-Loving Dad
TaylorMade Tour Response Stripe Balls, $42.99 (eligible for overnight delivery with Amazon Prime)
These golf balls are like regular ones, but the stripe makes them easier to visually line up your putt. Mindy’s brother is a big fan of these. He says, “They play like more expensive Pro V1 balls, but are more durable, less expensive, look cool, and are amazing for lining up putts.” He also says his putting has improved so much since getting these.
For the Game-Playing Dad
Lifetime Cornhole Set, $129.99 – also available in all Lifetime Stores (usually ships within 2-3 days – may not arrive before Father’s Day if purchased online)
Lifetime has a cornhole set that is just like their tables. “They fold in half just like a lifetime table and they have a little handle,” Mindy described. “They’re so easy to put out. You could put them in the back of your car, pop them out, pull the legs out, and you’re all set.”
For the Outdoor-Dad
Freescape Camp Saw, $60 (fastest delivery Friday, June 14 [as of Tuesday, June 11])
This looks like a regular saw, but it has a hidden trick to it. “It folds down into this little, foldable kit… and then you can put it in your camp bag or keep this in your car,” Mindy demonstrated.
For the Sideline Supporter
Heated Stadium Seat, $99 (fastest delivery Thursday, June 13 [as of Tuesday, June 11])
If you have a dad that is an avid sports supporter, he needs this stadium seat. “It’s a stadium seat, but it’s heated,” Mindy said. For those cold fall football games, this will be a game changer.
It’s also compact and streamlined for transport. “It goes flat and you can put it on your back like a little backpack,” Mindy explained.
For the Sentimental Dad
Framed Photo + Tickets to do Something Together
“My favorite gift to give my dad for Father’s Day is a framed picture, or I’ll give him a few pictures in the card… but then I add tickets with it,” Mindy explained. They could be tickets for go karting, a movie, a concert, even a round of golf.
“If it’s not something that you can actually print tickets for, I’ll make up little tickets and put them in with it,” Mindy said.
