Decorate spring cakes with fresh fruit and florals! Here’s some pretty inspiration…

Spring cakes look fresh with fruit and flowers on top!

Flowers aren’t just for your front yard… and your spring produce shouldn’t be confined to the fruit bowl.

Betheny Tomseth says fruits and florals add a fresh flair to any spring dessert! Betheny says this is the easiest and most beautiful way to decorate a cake.

“It turns everyone into a professional cake decorator!” She claims.

But you can’t just go pick any flower from the grocery store or your garden. It’s important to make sure your flowers are edible and don’t contain harmful pesticides. Betheny shared a list of common edible flowers that are completely safe to put onto cakes. Always be sure to research before telling your guests to eat the flowers on your cake, as some of these options only have edible petals.
