Delicious Devilled Eggs

Devilled eggs are a great finger food addition to any pot luck.

Lindsey Joy Smith shares how to make this zingy treat.
Perfect Hard Boiled Eggs

Put eggs into a pot. Cover with 2 inches of cold water. Turn heat to high. Once water starts to boil, cook for 10 min. Remove eggs from pot and place in them in cold water with ice. Let eggs sit in ice-bath for 5 min. Gently roll the boiled egg to break up the shell. Peel. Rinse with water to remove any leftover shell bits.

Devilled Eggs

Slice the egg lengthwise and remove the cooked yolk to a bowl. Mash the yolk with a fork until it resembles bread crumbs, then add the flavoring ingredients to taste, achieving a thick, creamy dip consistency. Spoon back into the shelled out egg white and serve immediately.
