Dermaplane
Dermplaning is a unique form of manual exfoliation (using a simple hand-held tool to remove dead skin). Clients that have tried microdermabrasions or chemicals peels will love this treatment. It combines the relaxation of a facial, with the results of a microdermabrasion. It can also be combined with a chemical peel to give clients an even deeper, more beneficial, peel.
In this treatment the technician uses a handheld instrument called a dermatome to gently scrape off specific layers on the client’s skin. During the process, damaged and scarred skin is removed, allowing new, healthy, and smooth skin to grow in its place. Dermaplaning is a simple procedure and it is generally quite comfortable for clients. Clients would experience the same redness as they would with a microderm or light chemical peel.
