Got fabric scraps? Put them together to make unique fabric pieces you can work with

Put fabric scraps together to make fun, pieced projects!

It’s a good thing you saved all those fabric pieces. You know, the ones that are at once too small to do much with, AND too big to throw away.

Fabric artist Kristin Baird helps us put them to use and make fabric from fabric. It’s not about piecing in a quilters way, but just combining artfully to get yardage you can work with.

Kristin recommends this essential tool, the Add-A-Quarter Ruler.

Kristin Baird has been a maker since she was very young, preferring crafts to just about every other form of entertainment. As an adult, she cultivated her creativity by obtaining a Bachelor’s Degree of Interior Design from USU. Each day she uses the concepts she learned in college through her business, Hey Kitty Rae, where she designs and sews custom dolls and stuffed animals.
