Thanks to heavy demand for her cookies, Rachel Smith just opened its first bakery and retail store in South Jordan. She is known for her oversized cookies that are extreme: bigger, sweeter, chunkier and “gooey-er”. Then, drawing on the company’s name, a variety of decadent ingredients such as candy bar chunks and chocolate are melted “over the top.”

This is fresh hot chocolate with a scoop of peppermint ice cream on top. As the ice cream melts, it turns the chocolate “pepperminty” … and then hot chocolate becomes so thick you can eat it with a spoon. This is a little out-of-the-way place in Draper where an old home is being renovated into a cozy café. They actually had several peppermint treats which could have made it on the list.
