Sweet Sugar Buns

  • 1 recipe simplified Danish Dough*
  • Sweet Flavored Sugars
  • Melted Butter
  • Additional sugar for dusting

Sweet Flavored Sugars

Strawberries & Cream

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze dried strawberries
  • 1/8 tsp powdered vanilla

Lemon & Poppyseed

  • 1 cup sugar
  • Fresh lemon zest from 1 large lemon
  • 1/4-1/2 tsp poppyseeds

Cinnamon & Sugar

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Blueberry & Lemon

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze dried blueberries
  • 2 package True Lemon, crystallized lemon

Simply Raspberry

  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup freeze dried raspberries

To make Sweet Sugars:

Place sugar into a small food processor or blender. Choose the type you want to make, add selected ingredients and pulse to coarse blend, then blend on high until even.

Store in covered container.
