Georganne Bell shares her idea for 4th of July cookies, plus a yummy buttercream dip for all the frosting lovers.
Whipped Buttercream Dip
1 cup room temperature butter
3 cups powdered sugar
2 teaspoons vanilla
8 ounces refrigerated whipped topping

Place butter and powdered sugar together in the bowl of a stand mixer. Turn mixer to medium speed and mix until blended. Add vanilla and cream together on high speed for 7 minutes, occasionally scraping down the sides of the bowl. Gently stir in one cup of the whipped topping by hand. Add the remaining whipped topping and fold together gently just until combined. Refrigerate for 1 hour before serving.
