Favorite Toddler, Tween, and Teen Activities

If you’ve got a house full of kids, all different ages, they probably don’t like to all do the same thing! Below are some fun activities to do with toddlers, tweens and teens.

Toddler

Coconut Cove- Vineyard

This is a very fun indoor playground for toddlers!  It’s perfect for crawling babies, toddlers and preschoolers. It has tons of places for mom to sit and even massage chairs, they thought of everything.  They have slides, climbing structures, mini trampolines, Lego area, virtual reality chairs, and more.  They are amazing at holding birthday parties there and it’s perfect to go with your mom friends and sit while your little one plays.

Storybrook Play Café- Salt Lake City

This is another amazing location for toddlers in Salt Lake City. It is darling inside with the cutest playhouses that every toddler would love. They’ve created a comfortable vibe for moms to sit and chat and even eat yummy food in their café. They are also amazing and doing birthday parties there. They go all out with princess theme and super hero theme parties. For Salt Lake toddler moms this is so great. They also do the cutest events and that you can sign up for on their website.

Tweens

Just Add Chocolate- Lehi

Oh my goodness it’s so fun and so yummy. You become a chocolatier and enjoy a chocolate making workshop where you make chocolates. They walk you through making truffles and chocolate covered everything. Strawberries, marshmallows, pretzels, chips, and even bacon. They have fun music in the background playing and you are just having a ball. This makes for a great activity for your tweens both girls and boys. Also they do birthday parties, date nights, and company parties. There is no fee for the workshop. It just starts at $15 for a half  a pound of chocolate. Such a fun activity and night out.

The Home Lab- Draper

This is the cutest art school in Draper. It is all about hands on fun. They offer so many amazing classes for kids. The Home Lab has sewing, art, and cooking classes, and offer birthday parties there too.  Melisa’s daughter and her friends made all from scratch chocolate glazed Bundt cakes. They absolutely loved it and cakes were delicious. It is really hard to find a kids cooking class. If you do it, it is usually just assembling. Here it is all from scratch. They walk you through each step and it’s the cutest location.  They offer 10 week cooking and sewing sessions. You will love it.

Teens

Prodigious Entertainment – Pleasant Grove

Axe throwing is all the rage. I really love this location because they are family friendly, very clean, and all about safety first. The owner walked each boy through the safety measures before going in and helped the boys the whole time. It is so fun for a group of teens because they have little competitions throughout the throwing. They also offer throwing spears, ninja stars, and more.  If you take a group of 10 teens then it turns out to being only $7 a teen. Teen girls will love it too. It’s such a fun activity and they can’t wait to go back.

Hale Center Theater- Orem

I love taking my kids to the theater. It is such a great activity for your kids. It is great for your teens and tween age kids. Hale Center is truly so fun and the talent is incredible. They are running Newsies until April 20th. The next production is Tuck Everlasting.

Melisa is hosting a fun event called “Power in You” on May 4.  It’s for tween and teen girls and their  moms to uplift and promote self esteem, self worth and confidence.  Tickets for this and future events available on Melisa’s Instagram @melisaosmond
