In recent years, the internet has turned being a “Utah mom” into a stereotype. We love soda shops, Stanley Cups, and our matching lounge wear sets. However, no one captures our quirks quite as perfectly as the self-proclaimed “Utah Mom” herself.
Jane Williamson uses her social media platform to playfully poke fun at common stereotypes. Her videos have received millions of views, and it’s not just people from Utah who laugh at her videos. Her content is shared by people across the nation. There’s just something about her “Utah Mom” character that is so loveable and relatable.
We sat down with Jane in Studio to talk about the creation of her character, where her daughter’s pretend name “Chickenleigh” came from, and to play a fun game of Fad or Forever – Utah Mom edition.
