Comcast’s digital upgrade is reclaiming analog bandwidth to provide more products and services to customers, such as faster Internet speeds, more HD channels and choices and more On Demand content.

More Program Choices – Same Cost
What’s great about the World of More is that Comcast Standard Cable Customers can have access to 17,000 new program options through Comcast On Demand – for no change in their monthly bill. Comcast On Demand service includes movies, kids programming, music channels and more. Even better, On Demand programs are available any time of the day, any day of the week with pause, fast-forward and reverse capability.

To benefit from the World of More, Standard Cable customers just need to call Comcast to arrange to get up to three digital boxes to connect to the TVs in their homes that aren’t already connected to a digital box, at no additional cost. Any additional adapters customers may need are just $1.99 per month. Digital Starter customers can also receive up to two free digital adapters depending on how many TVs they already have connected to digital boxes.

Great New HD Networks

If you have HD service with Comcast, you’ll get even more from the World of More. Customers with HD service will be connected to up to 58 new HD channels (for a total of 103 HD channels) through the initiative depending on their level of service. World of More is being implemented in five waves across Comcast’s service area in Utah. The first two waves are complete and customers in Brigham City, North Ogden, Ogden, South Ogden, Roy, Tremonton, Riverdale, Washington Terrace, West Haven, Harrisville, Magna, Kearns, Taylorsville, Stansbury Park, Grantsville, Tooele, West Valley City, Millcreek, Murray and Holladay are now benefiting from the World of More.

And that’s just the beginning. The World of More digital migration will continue through this fall and when complete, every Comcast customer with Standard Cable service in Utah will have access to thousands of On Demand program options – and customers with HD service will enjoy a wealth of new HD program options.

Here is a sampling of the 58 new HD networks available to Comcast customers with HD service: Encore HD, Hallmark Movie Channel HD, Bravo HD, CNBC HD, MGM HD, Disney XD HD, Biography HD, Planet Green HD, E! Entertainment HD, Travel Channel HD, Cartoon Network HD, Starz Kids and Family HD, Starz Comedy HD, TCM HD, CNN Headline News HD, HBO Latino HD, HBO Family HD, MSNBC HD, Hallmark HD, History International HD, and Investigation Discovery HD. Sports fans will also enjoy CBS College Sports HD, Big Ten Network HD, and ESPN U HD.

Customers with HD service can also enjoy more than 200 HD movies on On Demand from top movie providers including Avatar, Invictus, Dear John, The Young Victoria, Tooth Fairy and many, many more. On Demand also features nearly 300 television shows including 30 Rock and other hit TV series to name a few.
