Girl Scouts “Blizzard” Dairy Queen Treat

Dairy Queen owner Julie Thompson and two Girl Scouts come to Studio 5 with mouth-watering treats and invite your family to their stores.

During the week of July 7-13, local Girl Scout troops will set up displays, distribute information, sign up members and recruit volunteers at Dairy Queen restaurants. Girl Scout Appreciation Week comes during the month when Dairy Queen debuts the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard, a flavor that is sure to become one of the all-time, best-selling Blizzards that’s made with Girl Scout Thin Mint cookie pieces, creamy DQ soft serve and a Creme de menthe topping.

This is an opportunity for Dairy Queen to recognize the accomplishments of this pre-eminent leadership development organization for girls. And this is the first time Girl Scouts and Dairy Queen have come together to create a one-of-a kind Blizzard flavor.

The Girl Scouts Thin Mint Blizzard also comes in a cake. Get your Thin Mint Blizzard cake made with a layer of creamy chocolate or vanilla soft serve and DQ signature fudge crunch. Take your favorite Girl Scouts Thin Mint cookie, mix it with a creamy DQ soft serve and cool mint and you’ve got the newest DQ Blizzard. Available for a limited time only at Dairy Queen.

Girl Scouts of the USA is the world’s preeminent organization dedicated soley to girls — all girls — where, in an accepting and nurturing environment, girls build character and skills for success in the real world. Girl Scouting builds girls of courage, confidence, and character, who make the world a better place. Dairy Queen is excited to partner with the Girl Scouts and to announce the Girl Scouts Thin Mint Cookie Blizzard Treat.
