Rules of Thumb for Styling Glass
-Try using different colors of glass vases & jars. The perfect way to add a pop of color is to choose a glass vase that has some deeper colors especially for fall.
-When styling a larger glass vase, choose stems of the season. More greenery in the spring and summer and more deep colors with fall foliage in the fall.
-When placing smaller decor items within a cloche, either use one larger item or three smaller items within to make a statement.}
Rules of Thumb for Styling Rattan
– It should be balanced with other tones, textures and materials.
-Try also using cane or wicker, which are derivatives of rattan & give the same statement.
-When styling a shelf, coffee table, or console only use one to two rattan pieces within the styling to not overwhelm the look.
