A cookie glaze is the solution to your royal icing woes.
Royal icing looks pretty, but it tastes…. less than great. Buttercream frosting tastes amazing! But, you get a lot less precision in your decorations. A cookie glaze is the solution. It tastes delicious, and, you get the same decorating power as royal icing.
Amanda Henneman shares how to make it. There are some differences in how you handle a glaze over an icing, and she goes over the best ways to decorate your cookies. Amanda gives a little tutorial on how to do a cute turkey cookie for Thanksgiving.
