Gourmet Pizza at Home

You’ve heard that a good pizza comes down to good sauce.


This homemade pizza has a sweet and spicy blend that makes it gourmet!
Pizza Dough
1 cup warm water
1 1/2 tsp dry active yeast
1 tsp sugar
3 cups flour
1 tsp salt
1/4 cup olive oil

Topping
1/4 cup sweet berry chipotle grilling sauce
1/4 cup olive oil
salt and pepper to taste
3/4 cup mozzarella cheese
1/2 cup parmesan cheese
1/2 cup salami, diced
1 tbs fresh chopped rosemary


Preheat oven to 450 degrees F on convection roast. Pour warm water in the bowl of an electric mixer and add the yeast and sugar. Let it sit for five minutes until the yeast bubbles. Add the flour, salt, and olive oil. With dough hook attached to your mixer, mix on low for one minute, and increase to medium for about 5 minutes or until dough is soft, smooth, and holds together in a ball. Add another tablespoon of water if it’s too dry. Let the gluten in the dough rest for at least 10 minutes so it will be easier to work with.



Roll it out on a floured surface and press it into a greased pizza pan, forming an indentation around the edge to make the crust. Spread on the grilling sauce, olive oil, and sprinkle salt and pepper. Add the cheeses, salami, and fresh rosemary. Bake at 450 for 10 minutes or until it’s golden and bubbly. Enjoy!
