Egg, scrambled or fried
Ham, lean thin slices or cooked bacon bits
Mushroom slices, fresh or canned
Cheddar or American Cheese slice
Cinnamon Raisin Bagel
Crunchy Peanut Butter
Mozzarella Cheese slice
Cheddar Cheese slice
Golden Delicious Apple, thinly sliced
Whole Wheat Bagel
Monterey Jack Cheese slices
Provolone Cheese slices
Pastrami or roast beef, thinly sliced/shredded
Bacon, cooked, crumbled
Horseradish sauce, spread on bagel
Tomato slices marinated in basil
Mozzarella Cheese, fresh, slices
Fresh Basil leaf or chopped

Salami (fried), or cooked spicy sausage, Muenster Cheese, slices
Pepper Jelly, spread on bagel

Split bagel in half. Layer with ingredients of choice, sandwich style; grill or heat bagel according to cooking method below.
Traditional grilled: Lightly butter bagels; add filling of choice; place in medium hot pan or griddle. Cook until lightly browned on one side, flip and brown opposite side. Cook until cheese is melted and ingredients are hot.
Microwave: Assemble bagel sandwich; microwave on high for 20-30 seconds or until cheese is melted and bagel is heated through.
Broil, open-faced: Stack filling ingredients on one half the bagel ending with cheese on top. Place 6-7 inches under broiling unit in oven. Broil until cheese is melted and bagel is heated through.
Toaster: Toast bagel halves in conventional toaster. Add filling ingredients; microwave for 20-30 seconds or until cheese is melted and ingredients are hot.
