Halloween Pull-a-Part Pizza

1/4 cup butter, melted
1/2-1 teaspoon garlic powder
3 cans (7.5 oz each) refrigerator biscuits
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Slices of white cheese (Muenster, Mozzarella, etc.)
Stick of celery
Dipping sauce (or Pizza sauce of choice)
Olives, vegetables, slices pizza meat, etc of choice

Preheat oven to 350 F. Lightly oil two 3-cup oven proof bowl and two glass pie plates or, a form of flat lid, set aside.

Combine melted butter and garlic powder. Cut each biscuit into fourths, dip in melted butter, layer in prepared oven proof bowls with shredded cheese. Place equal amounts of biscuit dough and cheese in each bowl. Place prepared lid on bowls and bake for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown and center is cooked. Remove from oven, remove lid, and allow bread to cool 10-20 minutes before removing from pan. Cool.

Stack one round bread on top the other, flat sides together, to form a bread pumpkin. Place on serving plate. Remove a small spot on top of bread pumpkin. Cut celery into a 2 – 2 1/2 inch stick. Place celery on top of bread pumpkin for a stem.

Place cheese slices on wax paper and carefully cut jack-o-lantern eyes, mouth, and nose. Place face on bread pumpkin creating an edible bread jack-o-lantern. Kids may cut their own face shapes using face patterns. Draw face shapes on paper and cut out for children’s patterns. Give kids toothpicks or plastic knives to cut face shapes from cheese

To serve, pull jack-o-lantern apart into bite-size pieces, dip into dipping sauce or pizza sauce, eat with vegetables, olives, Canadian bacon or pepperoni, and other pizza toppings of choice. Serves approximately 8

Dipping Sauce:
Combine and heat 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce; 1/4 teaspoon oregano leaves; 1/8 teaspoon thyme; 1/2 teaspoon Italian seasoning; 1/8 teaspoon garlic powder; and, 3/4 teaspoon sugar.
