Instructions
Step 1: Stamp the heart image in River Rock ink on Designer Series paper. Place 1″ x 2″ strip of scrap paper along two sides of heart, lightly tracing three sides to create side flaps; score along the inside edge with bone folder. (See Heart visual for example; scoring side is indicated by dotted line.) Cut out heart, and fold along score lines.
Step 2: Repeat to create second heart image.
Step 3: Assemble heart ornament by adhering two heart images together with Sticky Strips.
Step 4: Cut 16″ strip of taffeta ribbon, and fold in half. Place bottom point of heart in center fold, and adhere to ornament with Sticky Strip. Place ends of ribbon together, and cut half-inch down along the edge of ribbon, forming thin ribbon thread; cut diagonally to opposite edge of ribbon. Thread ribbon through hole in Cream Round Pearl. (See Ribbon visual for example.) Cut diagonally to even ribbon ends.
Step 5: Stamp heart image in VersaMark ink on Very Vanilla card stock, and emboss with Gold emboss powder. Cut out image. Stamp heart image in VersaMark ink on Designer Series paper, and emboss with Gold emboss powder. Cut out heart image again, this time cutting inside dotted heart outline. Adhere Cream Halfback Pearl to Designer Series heart image with Mini Glue Dots, then layer on Very Vanilla heart image with Stampin’ Dimensionals. Adhere to heart ornament.
Step 6: Punch Designer Series scallop using Scallop Circle punch, and adhere Chunky Glitter to top half of scallop with 2-Way Glue Pen. Adhere scallop to back of heart ornament with Sticky Strip.
Step 7: Stamp “Everything” in Basic Black ink on Very Vanilla card stock, and hand cut banner. Adhere to heart ornament with Stampin’ Dimensionals.
Step 8: To create shredding, cut 1/8″ wide, 6″ long strips of Designer Series paper; run through crimper. Bundle 20-25 strips together, and tie together in middle with scrap of ribbon. Tuck middle down inside heart ornament, adhering in place with Sticky Strip. Form shredding with fingers, scrunching and separating for finished look. Repeat steps 5-8 on back side of heart ornament if desired.
