HGTV’s John Gidding at Fall Home Show

John Gidding, notable architect, designer and host of HGTV’s Curb Appeal:
The Block, will help Utahans fall in love with their homes when he appears at
the Deseret News Fall Home Show on Saturday, October 8 and Sunday,
October 9. Between two eventful days of Gidding’s seminars, Home Show
attendees will learn a variety of design tips and trends, as well as insider
information about his shows and upcoming projects.

With a diverse background in urban and graphic design, architecture, and
landscaping, Gidding has established a place for himself among the most
renowned in the design world. After earning a master’s degree in architecture
from Harvard University, Gidding worked for landscaping and architecture
firms, which, with this wealth of experience, helped him launch John Gidding
Design Inc. in New York City and Atlanta. Soon after opening his second
office, Gidding expanded his passion and talent for design by joining the
HGTV team as the current designer and host of Curb Appeal: The Block-
appearing on HGTV every Saturday evening.

“Since we tackle a variety of projects on Curb Appeal, viewers are able to see
ideas they can implement at any level of the makeover process, ” said
Gidding. “We showcase projects as tiny as restacking stones around a
planting bed, to larger projects where we clad a third of a house in
engineered stone. This way, people are not only inspired by a multitude of
designs, but they can also fit these projects into their budgets.”
