Home Decor: Utah Dream Home Expo

The big home décor trend is getting away from traditional Tuscan brown themes and embracing color. That’s the “take home” message at the latest home décor show in North Carolina which just wrapped up last month.

Heather Osmond, with Osmond Designs has some tricks to incorporate color in your existing home décor.

Most homes in Utah already have a traditional “Tuscan” theme which has been popular for years, but now that is changing. One way to introduce color is to use pillows and throws in your living room. That way, you gradually work color in, without having to revamp your whole room.

Heather was a Real Estate agent and saw a need to help sellers prepare their homes to sell. Other agents started hiring her to help them design their homes in preparing their sellers homes to sell. Osmond Designs now has two 22,000 sq. ft. stores and a 10,000 sq. ft. warehouse. Osmond Designs is one of the sponsors of the Utah Dream Home Expo.
