In today’s world, it’s all too common for teens to make bad decisions. Even the best kids – perhaps some you know and love – can lose their way.
Since 1990, the LifeLine for Youth program has brought hope and healing to thousands of families suffering from substance abuse, depression, family relationship problems, criminal behavior, school problems, pornography, out-of-control and other destructive behaviors that prevent youth from being happy and successful. We help both teens and their families make positive changes for life.
LifeLine’s slogan is “When Good Kids Make Bad Choices”. We really are treating good teens that are making bad choices and what else we know is that when good kids make bad choices there are reasons why. It’s easy to criticize what we don’t understand; teens that are negatively acting out have a story.
At LifeLine for Youth, we provide a psychiatric evaluation, psychological testing (MMPI-A, Beck Depression Inventory, Mental Status Exam) a psychosocial history, and a complete lab workup (CMP, routine and microscopic urinalysis, pregnancy test, thyroid battery, and drug screen).
