Stripes are now! And I, for one, am obsessed. I love the pattern, and visual interest they can add to any room. Stripes also work well with most styles; you can go bold or neutral, large or narrow, horizontal or vertical. They also can redirect the eye and reshape a space. A good rule of thumb to keep in mind when decorating with stripes is- the larger the space, the wider the stripes should be, because thin stripes in a big space can look like texture from far away.
