Layered Taco Dip


1 can (30 ounces) refried beans
3 ripe avocados
2 tablespoons lemon juice
1 teaspoon garlic salt
3 drops Tabasco sauce
1 cup sour cream
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1 package taco seasoning mix
1 bunch green onions, chopped
3 medium tomatoes, chopped
1 or 2 cans black olives, chopped or sliced
1 1/2 cups cheddar cheese, shredded
corn or tortilla chips


1. Spread a large round platter or serving dish with the refried beans making an even layer.

2. Peel, pit, and mash avocados. Combine the lemon juice, garlic salt, and
Tabasco sauce with the avocados and mix well. Spread over bean layer.

3. Combine sour cream, mayonnaise, and taco seasoning mix. Spread over avocado layer.

4. Sprinkle with green onions, tomatoes, olives, and cheddar cheese.

5 Serve with corn or tortilla chips.
