Your little Lego-maniac can cash in at one local toy store. Just join the Lego building contest sponsored by Three Little Monkeys!

When you think of architecture and engineering lessons, you typically imagine college, even graduate-level education. The Three Little Monkeys toy stores are changing that with the launch of Bricks4 Kidz, a fun, LEGO®-based afterschool and summer program that helps kids learn. The locally-owned toy stores are celebrating the kick-off of their Bricks4 Kidz classes with a building contest using LEGO® bricks. Every person who enters will receive a $5 gift certificate to the toy store. First, second and third place winners in each category will be awarded larger toy store gift certificates and accolades. The contest is open to all Utah residents.
“We are so excited to offer Bricks4 Kidz after school, summer classes and special programs,” says Doug Clift, Three Little Monkeys owner. “Please drop off your creations for our contest. Our judges are looking for creative projects.”
To enter, simply build your best LEGO creation, and drop it off at Three Little Monkeys in Bountiful or Fruit Heights by closing on Friday, March 22. You may drop off your creation any time the store is open. Enter in one of three categories, children ages 6-9, 10-13, 14-17 or adults.
“LEGO® maniacs start building,” continued Clift. “Even grown-ups should get the chance to play, that’s why we are offering an adult category.”
All of the creations will be displayed and winners will be crowned at open houses on Saturday, March 26 from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. in the Bountiful Three Little Monkeys store and from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p. m. in the Fruit Heights store. The public is invited to attend the open house to enjoy the creativity and ingenuity of their neighbors.
