They stopped by Studio 5 to give us a preview of this weekend’s performance.


Grab your friends and family for an evening of exciting live music Thursday, September 17th at the Layton Amphitheate. Featuring live bands Lokalgrown and Miles Out, proceeds from the performance will directly benefit Layton High Lancer Bands.

The event is located at Layton City’s Ed Kenley Amphitheater (403 N. Wasatch Drive in Layton). Tickets are $8 in advance, or $10 at the door, and may be purchased from Layton HS Band students or at the LHS Band Office at (801) 402-4915.

About Lokalgrown

Lokalgrown prides itself on being fantastic entertainment all can enjoy. The group got its start in Logan, UT while members attended Utah State University (Go Aggies!). Band members include: Nate Davis (guitar), Tyler Putnam (guitar), Zach Putnam (guitar), Quinn Dietlein (keys), Matt Kline (bass), Keith Sorensen (drums).

For nearly a decade, Lokalgrown has been entertaining crowds throughout Utah, Idaho, Arizona, Colorado, Nevada, and Budapest, Hungary (true story – for some odd reason they were on some random radio station there for a while).

Influenced by the sounds of Coldplay, Neil Young, the Eagles, Dave Matthews, Martin Sexton, Snow Patrol, Bob Dylan, Toad the Wet Sprocket and the Fray, to name a few, Lokalgrown delivers a performance which is nothing short of compelling, engaging and crowd pleasing.

– Ellen Eccles Theatre

They have over fifty years in combined performance experience and have played over 1,000 shows, weddings, and business parties during their time together. Lokalgrown is proud of their music and performance, which is accessible and enjoyable by all ages and is great for any event.
