Dill Pickle Dip

By Alyssa Rivers
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Total Time: 10 minutes
Servings: 6 people
For the pickle lovers out there, Alyssa’s dill pickle dip is a must-try. It’s creamy, tangy, and pairs well with chips, crackers, and veggies. If the dip thickens up in the fridge, simply add a spoonful of pickle juice until you get the desired consistency. You can also turn it into a cheeseball by letting it set in the fridge and forming with plastic wrap.
INGREDIENTS
- 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1 cup finely chopped dill pickles
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 Tablespoon dill weed chopped
- 2 Tablespoons dill pickle juice
METHOD
- In a medium-sized bowl, combine the cream cheese, sour cream, chopped dill pickles, garlic powder, dill weed, and pickle juice until incorporated.
- Serve immediately or chill for an hour to let the flavors blend together and the cheese to thicken.

Crockpot Buffalo Chicken Dip

By Alyssa Rivers
Prep Time: 5 minutes
Cook Time: 2 hours
Total Time: 2 hours 5 minutes
Servings: 8 people
A buffalo chicken dip is pretty much mandatory at any Super Bowl party. Full-fat cream cheese is a must for this recipe to avoid a runny dip. Serving it in a crock pot keeps the dip soft, warm, and at the perfect dipping consistency throughout the entire game.
INGREDIENTS
- 3 cups chicken cooked and diced*
- 8 ounce cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup buffalo sauce
- 3/4 cup ranch
- 1 1/4 cup cheddar cheese, shredded
- green onions and blue cheese crumbles (optional)
METHOD
- Spray a 3 quart slow cooker with cooking spray. Add the chicken, cream cheese, buffalo sauce, and ranch.
- Stir until it is mixed. Cook on low for 1-2 hours.
- Right before it is done, add 1 cup of the cheese and stir and then add the 1/4 cup cheese to the top. Let the cheese melt throughout and serve. Garnish with green onions and blue cheese crumbles if desired.
Notes
Rotisserie chicken works great with this recipe! Canned chicken does not. It breaks down too much cooking over low heat.
