Mom’s Broccoli Salad


3-4 stalks of broccoli
1 lb. bacon
1 bunch green onions
1 can sliced water chestnuts
1 can chopped pimento
2 small tomatoes
1 Tbl. lemon juice
1 to 1 1/2 cups mayonnaise
1 tsp. salt


1. Cut up and remove woddy outside of broccoli stems and cook for 4 min.

2. Add broccoli flowerettes for last 3 min.

3. Cut up bacon and cook. Put 3/4 in salad and keep 1/4 for top.

4. Drain all ingredients thoroughly.

5. Mix all together and put remaining bacon on top before serving.
