Nurturing Neurodiversity in Children

15-20% of the global population exhibit some form of neurodivergence. Meaning, their brains function and process information differently from what is typically considered “neurotypical”. However, different doesn’t mean less, and disability doesn’t equate to inability.

Those are two beliefs Clinical Social Worker Ginger Healy holds close to her heart. Ginger is a mother of two children with autism, and she shared how we can better nurture neurodiversity in children.
