1. In August the Institute will be holding artist “labs” at the Sundance Resort for COMPOSERS and film PRODUCERS.

2. On August 6, Sundance Institute will present a free screening of Mary and Max Directed by Academy Award-winner Adam Elliott
8:30 p.m. outdoors at City Park, Park City as part of ” Festival After Dark” on the Opening Night of the 41st Park City Kimball Arts Festival

Mary & Max, a claymation feature, is a simple friendship story about two very different pen-pals. Mary and Max’s friendship take us on a journey that explores autism, taxidermy, psychiatry, alcoholism, agoraphobia, and obesity, to name a few topics, each penned with love and compassion.
