Pier 49 Penne Pesto Pasta
1 c. cooked Penne Pasta
1/3 c. of pesto sauce
2 T. of Alfredo sauce
1 t. garlic butter
2 T. Mozzarella cheese
3 t. fancy shred parmesan cheese
3 t. sun dried tomatoes
Mix Pesto sauce Alfredo sauce and garlic butter until smooth.
Place cooked pasta in an oven save bowl or dish, mix sauce with pasta.
Top with mozzarella and parmesan cheese. Bake at 425 for 10 to 15 minutes, or until cheese is melted and browned.
Sprinkle with
Sun dried tomatoes and serve.
Pesto Sauce
2 c. fresh basil leaves
2 cloves of garlic
2/3 c. Extra virgin olive oil
½ c. fresh grated parmesan cheese
Kosher salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
Combine basil & garlic in food processor and pulse until coarsely chopped. Add oil and process until fully incorporated and smooth. Season with salt & pepper.
Stir in parmesan cheese.
