You don’t need fancy rigging to pull off an eye-catching pumpkin arch.
A random drive through a Herriman neighborhood had us doing a double-take! With some PVC pipes and zip ties, Alex Ford constructed a front porch arch made from the plastic pumpkin pails found at the dollar store.
It’s an impressive set up, and Alex says its a simple installation. She showed us how she built it!
Choose your supplies you want to use to add to your arch. The technique is the same for any material.
You need PVC pipe and zip ties to attach everything together. Continue to build up the PVC pipe, and the zip tie allows you to move things around and shape the arch. Fill gaps with garlands or picks.
You can use the same technique to add height to front porch planters or even install into the yard.
