Quarantine in Style: Our Favorite Loungewear

By Chelsea Fairbourn

If your daily uniform looks a little different these days, welcome to the cozy, comfy club! With nowhere to go and no one to see, it’s safe to say fashion has been put on the back burner in favor of functional, no fuss clothing. But if you’re like us, your lineup of comfy clothes may be a little sparse, neglected, and dare we say dreary? In the spirit of retail therapy and fun meets functional clothing, we’ve pulled 10 of our favorite online cozy clothes to add to your quarantine wardrobe.

Barefoot Dreams

The Barefoot Dreams brand is known for all things comfy and cozy. In fact, that’s all they offer! Their pullovers and sweats are made of ultra-plush microfiber material that doesn’t pill or shrink. The best part? Their entire line is on sale for up to 50% off at Nordstrom right now.

Tie Dye at Target

In case you didn’t know, tie dye is back and better than ever! Coordinated tie dye sweat sets are popping up all over social media. Target, like always, is all over the trend and offers a variety of options and colors. Disclaimer: these sweat sets are flying off the rack, so it may require creativity and patience to get the color combination you want.

Fleece Joggers at Target

Another favorite find at Target are the Stars Above fleece joggers. They may look like ordinary sweats, but dive into the online reviews and you will find hundreds of five-star product reviews claiming they are perfectly soft and cozy, but still lightweight enough for spring weather. The best part?  They’re only $20.

Spiritual Gangster

This brand is all about comfy, cozy, and uplifting messaging. One scroll through their online store reveals vibrant colors, fun prints and patterns, coordinated sets, and messaging that isn’t overtly cheesy. The price point is a little higher than most, but the quality of the material backs it up.

Dibaolong Yoga Pants

These loose-fitting yoga pants are a cult favorite on Amazon. Thousands of reviews label them as a must-have pant and rave about the soft jersey knit fabric. Wear these around the house, on your weekly trip to the grocery store, exercising – they’re good for just about everything. As an added bonus, they’re under $20 and come in 14 different colors.

Hanes Pullover

This is another Amazon favorite that’s under $10. Yep, you read that right – $10! It’s simple enough that it can be paired with anything – sweatpants, jeans, leggings, etc. It’s fleece lined, but still falls into the lightweight category. This little number comes in 10 different colors.

Aerie Cargo Jogger

We know animal print is having a moment, but we didn’t realize how much we’d love it in its loungewear form! These darling joggers from Aerie are fashion forward without being overbearing. You can dress them up or dress them down, which makes them a purchase that will get plenty of mileage when you finally get to leave the house.

Nasty Gal Striped Sweater Set

This coordinated set is a fresh, fun addition to your loungewear lineup! The relaxed fit, two-tone stripe elongates the leg and makes a day in the house a fashion forward one. These sets are typically $80, but if you move quick you can snag one for 50% off.

Super Soft Cotton:On Crew

It’s your standard crew cut sweatshirt, with a stylish twist. The draw cord at the hem allows you to control your fit and overall look. Cinch it tighter to pair it with jeans or go for the relaxed fit for lounging at home. It comes in four different neutral colors with an under $20 price tag.

The Home Edit Crewneck

If you like cozy meets quirky, the Home Edit line is for you! The popular Instagram duo Clea Shearer and Joanna Teplin created a line of graphic tees, pullovers, and hoodies with their signature sayings on them. Our personal favorites for right now? The “Surviving Not Thriving” or “Clean Hands Club” options.
