Embracing Life and Sharing Her Journey
Emilee has embraced sharing her journey with the world online. This year, she has chosen the word “seek” as her guiding principle. She explained, “After I choose a word, I always look for the definition. One that really spoke to me was ‘to strive after.’ My hope is to strive after things that truly have purpose.”
Seeking Spiritual Growth
One of Emilee’s goals is to seek spiritual growth. She aims to visit every temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Utah and invite friends from those areas to join her. Emilee believes that striving for spiritual growth helps her stay grounded and connected to her faith.
Seeking for Better Relationships
Emilee is also focused on seeking better relationships. She wants to find better ways to connect with those around her. Emilee shared, “I’m just looking at better ways to connect with my family and the people that I love.”
Seeking for Stronger Health
Despite her ongoing health challenges, Emilee is committed to seeking better health. She focuses on exercise and maintaining her well-being. Emilee stated, “The motivation to just keep going is that I wasn’t supposed to be here still. It truly is a miracle that I’m sitting here with you.”
Seeking to be a Light to Others
Emilee’s final goal is to seek ways to be a light to others. She wants to help others recognize the miracles in their lives and understand the grace of God. Emilee expressed, “I always want to recognize how I’m here and why I’m here. It’s truly through miracles and the grace of God. I want to help others know Him better.”
