Scarecrow Festival


West Ridge Academy helps troubled adolescents make real, lifelong and sometimes life-saving changes and provide peace, hope and healing for families in crisis. They have helped more than 25,000 troubled teens with spiritual and moral values that can change behavior.

About the Scarecrow Festival

Location. The 17th Annual Scarecrow Festival is located in Electric Park and Farm Country at Thanksgiving Point.

Activities. The Scarecrow Festival features games, face-painting, train rides, peddle cars, wall climbing, pony rides, Farm Country Animals, trampoline bungee, obstacle courses, bounce houses and tons of inflatable slides. The Junior Haunted House is lots of fun and not too scary for kids.

Family Fun & Food. The entire family will enjoy the lazy wagon ride, jugglers, various walking entertainment and all kinds of food.

Teenage Activities. Teens are invited to decorate and launch rockets, test their skills at various challenge games, compete in wall climbs, speed pitch, and much more.
Fun for Adults. Lively entertainment from local performing dance and song groups will be presented during the entire day on two stages. The Country Craft Store is a one-stop fall shopping opportunity with the lowest prices you’ll find. Many items have been hand-crafted by West Ridge Academy students.

About West Ridge Academy. West Ridge Academy is a nonprofit 501c(3) corporation helping troubled teens and families since 1964. All proceeds from the Scarecrow Festival provide scholarships for young men and women who attend West Ridge Academy.
