Casey’s summer style recommendations are not just random picks, but items that you will love and use every day. You don’t need to buy all of them, but choosing one or two can spruce up your closet for summer. “See what your needs are and what could fit seamlessly in your wardrobe,” Casey said.

Essential Hats

Casey said there are two hats that every woman needs. “I have become hat girl!” she said. “Because… I want my face covered.”

The first is a raffia cowboy hat. “It holds its shape really well, and it’s just a really solid, great beach hat,” Casey explained. It’s perfect for any occasion, from a pool day to a random Tuesday.

The second is a baseball cap. Casey highly recommends one by the brand Mellon. “It has grown a ton in the last year, so they have a million different sizes, styles, colors, and patterns,” she said. They are known for being waterproof and sweatproof.

Wardrobe Basics

Every woman needs a good white t-shirt in their summer style arsenal. “I’ve tried all of them,” Casey exclaimed.

Casey likes the Box-Cut Tee from Everlane. “I’ve explored other ones, but I always come back to this one,” she said. It is light, opaque, and slightly cropped so you don’t get excess sag at the bottom.

“This shirt is like… you must get it. It is the end all,” Casey emphasized.

She recommended pairing the tee with the universally flattering American Eagle Bermuda shorts. Casey said, “If you know me, I run from Bermuda shorts. These ones fit everyone AND looked cute on everyone. I ordered them and yep, I like them.” She loves the length, the frayed hem, and said they are so good for this summer.

Chic Cover-ups

For those pool days or nicer trips, an eyelet set from H&M works as a cute cover-up. “Wear it at the pool and then throw it on for lunch. It just works in all settings,” Casey said. She loves the red for the summer season.

Summer Dresses

Rounding up dresses from Amazon, Casey found some gems. One of her favorites has pretty buttons and a cinched waist. “This is one of my favorites partly because you can’t tell it’s from Amazon,” Casey said.

It’s easy, breezy, and comes in a lot of color options. “It also comes in a longer sleeve and it’s just an easy grab and go,” Casey mentioned.

Elevated Basics

A ribbed tee with piping, cuff, and collar details can elevate your basic t-shirt game. “This is my new favorite,” Casey exclaimed. It can be affordable and pretty, perfect for a casual look.

Accessories

Casey loves a bag from Adidas that can carry your water and has pockets for lip gloss, sunscreen, and your phone. “One of my friends brought this on a hike, and by the end, we all had ordered it,” she said. “It’s the perfect summer hiking bag.”

Casey’s favorite perfume for the summer is called Vacation by Vacation, which just smells like summer.

Casey is really loving a 42 SPF sunscreen from Kopari. “When you spray it, you glow,” she said. “My kids don’t touch this. This is mama’s sunscreen only.”

Casey loves the fact that it actually has a good amount of SPF. “We’re doing ourselves a solid in the coverage, but we’re getting that gorgeous glow effect, too,” she emphasized.
