12 large shrimp, cleaned and deveined
3 garlic cloves, finely minced
1 tablespoon fresh basil, finely chopped
2 tablespoons of Heinz 57 Steak Sauce
1/4 cup beef gravy or 2 tablespoons of dry gravy mix with 1/4 cup water
1/4 cup soft butter
1 teaspoon black pepper, cracked
1 tablespoon parsley, finely chopped
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
In a heavy sauté pan over medium-high heat, place one tablespoon of vegetable oil and heat for 30 seconds. Add shrimp and cook on one side for two minutes. Add garlic, turn shrimp over, and cook for one minute. Add Heinz 57 Steak Sauce and beef gravy and cook for one minute. Add basil, pepper, parsley, and butter and cook for 30 seconds.
Serve the shrimp over hot cooked pasta or rice with garlic toast.
