Fresh Strawberries & Cream Syrup
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups sliced strawberries
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tsp lemon juice
- 1 cup cold water
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 2 tbsp heavy cream
METHOD
- In a blender, place strawberries, sugar and lemon juice.
- Stir cornstarch into water until it’s dissolved. Pour into blender and blend until smooth.
- Pour into a medium sized saucepan and cook until it’s thickened and bubbly. Whisk in cream.
Makes about 3 cups
