4 slices of raisin bread
¼ cup cream cheese
2 tablespoons small chocolate chips
1 cup whole milk
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1 teaspoon cinnamon
¼ teaspoon real vanilla
Mix chocolate chips and cream cheese. Spread half of the mixture between two pieces of bread.
Mix eggs, milk, vanilla and cinnamon.
Cut bread in quarters. Dip in egg wash. Place oil in a heavy sauté pan over medium high heat and heat to temperature. Cook bread slices in pan until golden brown. Serve with maple syrup and butter.
