Ankle boots are a great way to transition from winter to spring, however, they can be a little tricky when worn with cropped pants.
The key to making this trend work is to give a little peek of the skinniest part of your leg: the area right above your ankle bone.
Try a boot that hits at your ankle and a pant that hits a few inches above your ankle.
Also, go for an ankle pant (not a capri) that is slightly tapered toward the bottom and then balance it out with a little more volume on top. Because this is a cool and more relaxed trend, I like the idea of keeping the rest of your look laid back and casual.
