I’m excited to introduce to Utah this new FDA-approved laser technology for the treatment of Hair Loss. This type of Low Level Laser energy has long been recognized as an effective treatment for cell regeneration. In recent years, it has been used clinically for hair re-growth, and was approved by the FDA for hair re-growth last year. Laser energy stimulates hair growth by three methods: by improving hair follicle cell function in the scalp, by improving scalp blood flow, and by reducing hair follicle inflammation. The Sunetics laser is 650 nm Diode laser and is specific for hair re-growth. Unlike lasers used for hair removal, it is effective for all hair colors and safe for all skin types. And there is no pain or side effects whatsoever associated with the treatments.
Great candidates for this type of therapy include men in the early to middle stages of male pattern baldness, and women experiencing various types of hair loss. Clients in the later stages of baldness will not likely experience much success. There are many factors that contribute to hair loss including environmental, hormonal, and genetic influences. Part of your treatment protocol includes an evaluation by Dr Jepson to determine all of the contributing factors to your individual hair loss problem, and help reversing the correctable ones (with a special focus on proper hormonal health).
